Circulation Policy

Welcome to our school library! We are excited to support our students’ reading journeys. 

Hours of Operation:  The media center is open daily during school hours. Classes are scheduled to visit each week, and students may also visit individually with teacher permission.  See our Open Check Out Schedule below.

Checkout Limits

• Kindergarteners: 1 book at a time.
• 1st and 2nd Graders: 2 books at a time.

Loan Period

• All students can check out books for a period of 2 weeks.  Books can be renewed if needed for a longer period of time as long as there is not a hold on the book.

Overdue Books

• Books will be considered overdue after 2 weeks.
• Fines: No fines will be charged for overdue books.
• Privileges: If a student has an overdue book, their circulation privileges will be revoked until the book is returned.
• Replacement Fee:  If a student has damaged or lost a book, a damage/replacement fee will be assigned.  Fees can be paid by cash or check to WGP.  Students will not be able to check out books until all fines are paid
